What are Hybrid Lashes? 

Hybrid lashes are a lovely mixture of both volume eyelash extensions and classic/ individual eyelash extensions so it will give a beautiful full look but not so dramatic as a full set of Russian volume lashes. It is ideal for people with sparse lashes who would prefer more natural set instead of full Russian volume set.

A lash artist will create amazing results by using fans (handmade volume fans or pre-made fans) and adding individual lashes to your natural lash line to fill in the lashes making them beautiful and full. 

As a lash artist you don’t have to be qualified in Russian volume to create hybrid lashes but you need to understand what dimension to use when working with volume lash fans. Here is the short video to explain the lash fans better so you can create safe set for your client.

Hybrid lashes will add length and volume to your natural lashes giving stunning, long lasting results. Lashes must be professionally removed as we re using surgical-grade glue.

It doesn’t matter if you apply individual extension or the fans first. This is completely up to you.

How to do hybrid lashes

You will still have to isolate each natural lash and place your fan or individual extension on it. Therefore if you would like to create a hybrid set for your clients, you will have to be trained in at least individual eyelash extensions.
